Thermostats

This house has a really cool thermostat system. This first picture is of the control that is in the stairway up to the bedroom floor. It shows the time and the temp it's set at and what the temp actually is. It is also programmable, so that, say, in Winter, if you need the heat to be a little more when you get up in the morning, you can set it for 30 minutes before your alarm goes off, and it will start getting the house ready for you to get up.

This second thermostat control is actually for a ceiling fan. There are two of these: one for the living room ceiling fan, and another in the master bedroom. The panels are held on to the wall by velcro, handy when you want the control right next to you; it just detaches and reattaches! The right side of the panel is for the ceiling fan; you can set these to go clockwise or counter-clockwise. The left side of the panel is for the light that's on the ceiling fan: set it for off, dim and all the way up to full blast.

Furnace is a little old but works well. There is no central air.
